From The Stands Podcast! David-Caguioa MVP Debate / PBA Finals Preview / Chot Reyes Tribute.

I'm proud to have the "From The Stands" podcast on this blog for the first time. It's intelligent. It's mundane. It's sports. It's the core of our existence. It's whatever you want it to be. In the comeback episode of From The Stands, Chuck Araneta (now-suffering Bulls fan) and Polo Bustamante (life-long Alaska fan) jam about the whole Gary David vs Mark Caguioa MVP debate and the PBA Finals between BMEG and ROS. By the way, someone will say PJ Simon is very, very sneaky. They'll also discuss the teams no longer in the title hunt. Bonus content to end podcast: a tribute to TNT Coach Chot Reyes.

Some excerpts:

Chuck: "This is Gary David's year and he deserves to be MVP."
Polo: "I'm a Caguioa believer after watching him the past two conferences."

Chuck: "The PBA Finals is going to be nasty."
Polo: "In terms of clutch factor, you can't take away James Yap."

Chuck: "It seems that Coach Chot is more than just a coach to his players."
Polo: "When Coach Chot retires, one of his colorful polo shirts has to be retired."

  3. look at the mvp stats. lamang pa nga si yap kay caguioa. their imports have done good, but look at sino mas may all around play on caguioa, david and yap??? mas maraming rebounds at assist si Yap!

  4. Yap seems like Pacman win over Marquez. Hindi for the kill just like his former fights, pero he's a winner pa rin. Yap should be an MVP contender. If u look on the stats, it should be David-Yap duel. If you look on the votes, It should be David-Caguioa-Yap duel!

#1 ngayon sa BPC si Caguioa, me nagstand out ba sa ROS/BMEG players? si Ping on and off same with James.

Back to Back BPC=MVP for CAGUIOA.

  6. Ang alam ko pag MVP kaya dalhin yung koponan at pag-championin ang team nya.. San ba lamang si david? Sa points oo magbuwaya ba nman kya un chumamba lng sila ng philippine cup.. Pano rbnds assist at steal? Db dpat overall at dapat champion team mo..

  7. di marunong mag analyze ang boboto kay caguio..kitang kita naman sa laro na nghahabol sya s mvp..puro xa may hawak ng bola..ehh si james yap when it comes to big games he can deliver...that's mvp character...and should win the mvp for the 3rd time

  8. hawak ni caguioa ang bola palagi kasi sya ang ball facilitator at number 1 option sa offense. unlike james who moves well without the ball ay d magawang makahawak ng bola dahil sa depensa sa kanya.
sino dapat mag-mvp? its between caguioa and david.
back to back bpc for mark caguioa at season 37 mvp.
