"Training Day" New LeBron XI Commercial. VIDEO:

Welcome to the LeBron James Triathlon in Miami: Bike, Swim, Hoops. You can bike with LBJ. You can swim with LBJ. But when it's time to hoop, LBJ gets real serious.

Bro! The Nico Salva + Terrence Romeo Bro Pic you've been waiting for. PHOTO:

Nico Salva posted this photo on Instagram from today's PBA Rookie Camp. The word war which started on Twitter ends peacefully on InstaG. Naturally, Nico uses the perfect one-word caption that says it all: Bro. MH

Ohio State Marching Band performs amazing Michael Jackson moonwalk during halftime. VIDEO:

Why is this video amazing? 1) It involves Michael Jackson 2) It took so many talented and committed guys and girls to make this choreography happen 3) They even thought of the glove - that's impeccable attention to detail and 4) Like I said, it involves Michael Jackson. MH

Gregg Popovich doesn't like doing preseason courtside interviews. VIDEO:

We all know by now that San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich doesn't like doing courtside in-game interviews during the regular season and the playoffs. His dislike for it is legendary. So when he goes nuts during this preseason interview with Craig Sager, we shouldn't be surprised. "In the preseason we got to do this?! The preseason?!!!" Haha. MH

NBA on ESPN commercial featuring Joakim Noah and Bill Simmons. VIDEO:

The NBA on ESPN "RV" commercials have been excellent. This one featuring Chicago Bulls defensive specialist Joakim Noah and ESPN's Bill Simmons is no exception. The funniest part of this commercial: that minion moment of Jeff Van Gundy.

"There is no excuse for such behavior." Petron fans club says sorry to Marqus Blakely.

The Petron Fans Club "Blazing Beermen Clan" initially wrote a letter of apology addressed to San Mig Coffee fans and the PBA community in general. Sharing here their letter of apology (posted via their @BlazingBeermenC Twitter account) now directly addressed to San Mig Coffee import Marqus Blakley:

Steph Curry watched Steve Nash and Reggie Miller the most. VIDEO:

During an interview on ESPN SportsCenter, Steph Curry said that aside from watching his father, Dell Curry, he watched Steve Nash and Reggie Miller the most.

Hmmm. He handles the ball like Nash. He shoots the ball like Reggie. Watch his highlights. It makes sense. It makes perfect sense.

Awesome Instagram photo of Mama Kraken and June Mar Fajardo:

What a priceless moment between Mommy Tess and June Mar Fajardo. You can be the future PBA Mamaw who can score 20 points and grab 20 rebounds, possibly the next face of Petron, potentially a future MVP, but when the games are done and the lights are turned off, you're still Mama Kraken's little boy. Awwwww. MH

Letter of apology from Petron's Beermen Blazing Clan Fans Club.

The Beermen Blazing Clan (BBC) fan club sent me this letter of apology via Twitter. According to the BBC, the letter was written by their founder Ryan Ponce. They also tagged Marqus Blakely, Coach Tim Cone, Olsen Racela and the official PBA twitter account in the same twitter post.

Here's the message:

To our dear friends from the BBC, perhaps a letter addressed directly to Marqus Blakely is likewise appropriate. I'm sure sincere gestures such as these will be greatly appreciated. Racism, whether intentional or unintentional, should never be tolerated. We all understand that a good amount of "asaran" between teams, fans, and players is part of the game. But respect for one another is what makes the game great. MH

PBA Fan Art - Mark Barroca is the Coffee Prince. GRAPHIC:

Good job here by PBA Fan Artist Duke Bernal! Mark Barroca scored 22 points, shot 7 out of 9 from the field, dished out 10 assists, completed 2 steals and played in-your-face defense on Petron import Elijah Millsap to help San Mig Coffee win Game 5 last night. MH

June Mar Fajardo meets Gavin Kramer. PHOTO:

One of the best Kraken sightings on Instagram! Gavin Kramer aka Gavincredible meets June Mar Fajardo aka Krakencredible. Don't worry Gavin, June Mar won't hurt you. Just don't try to guard him near the basket. Besides, Daddy Doug's biceps will protect you. MH

PBA Retro Fan Art - Marqus Blakely vs Elijah Millsap. GRAPHIC:

Judging by how Petron's Elijah Millsap and San Mig Coffee's Marqus Blakley were pushing each other and exchanging verbal missiles in Game 2, I suspect both men will do the same for the remainder of the series. This PBA Fan Art is also another reason why a PBA Retro Night complete with Retro Jerseys should happen. Great job as always @HaeLGRfX! MH

MLB Playoffs pre-game video inspired by Field of Dreams. VIDEO:

Great job by the Major League Baseball Network (MLB Network) in producing this pre-game video package inspired by the classic 1989 baseball movie Field of Dreams. As always, an effective pre-game video often features a) a well-written script, b) a theme designed to draw an emotional response from viewers, and c) a near-obsessive amount of attention to detail. They even got Ray Liotta, the actor who played Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams, to narrate the video.

NBA rising stars ready for Opening Night. VIDEO:

You know the big boys are always ready for opening night. But as this promo video package suggests, even rising stars like Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, Paul George, John Wall, Greg Monroe, Harrison Barnes, Gordon Hayward, Jrue Holiday, Kemba Walker, Kenneth Faried and Mike Conley are all amped to start the new NBA season as well.

US sports show discusses significance of MOA Arena crowd booing Dwight Howard. VIDEO:

On CBS Sports Network's nightly debate show The Lead Off, they discussed the significance of Dwight Howard being booed during the NBA Global Games in the Philippines. One host said, "I say this is a major deal because we're talking about Dwight Howard. If there's ever a player who needed a check up from the neck up, it is number 12, Dwight Howard." The other host, however, countered by saying, "I think this is just people in the Philippines reacting to the narrative set forth by so many of the Lakers." Watch the video:
