This was the controversial "spilled drink" during the final moments of the game between BKN and LAL. With no timeouts left, Kidd appeared to have created an artificial timeout for his team when he "accidentally" spilled his cup of soda on the floor after "accidentally" colliding with his own player, Tyshawn Taylor. The Lakers still won, 99-94. "Hit Me" will also be a popular catchphrase during BKN games for the rest of the season. But the NBA made sure Kidd won't drop another cup of soda during a game. The league fined him $50,000.00 for "intentionally spilling a drink on the floor to delay the game." Siguro next time Coach can accidentally drop a hotdog sandwich na may sobrang daming ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise naman:) MH

PBA Fan Art - The Kraken vs Gregzilla. GRAPHICS:
When I saw @iloveathasja's question on Twitter, I felt it sounded right. I felt it would work. That it would work really well. #GREGZILLA - it even looks good as a hashtag. Ginebra rookie Greg Slaughter said he didn't like Sgt. Slaughter as a moniker since his brother was an actual sergeant in the US military. "He's the real Sgt. Slaughter," Greg said.
So fans like @iloveathasja came up with a new one. And it's awesome. GREGZILLA. It became even more awesome when the best PBA Fan Artists went to work on June Mar "Kraken" Fajardo vs Greg "Gregzilla" Slaughter posters. Good job witty Fans like @iloveathasja! Good job PBA Fan Artists like Hael Pinat, Geff Simon Baldeo and Joey Almadin! You're all winners! MH

Paul George windmill dunk vs T-Wolves. PG24!!! VIDEO:
Seriously, if you still don't have a fave player in the NBA, if by chance you're not a Kobe fan or LeBron fan or D-Rose fan or CP3 fan, or you're tired of cheering for the current superstars and you feel like cheering for someone new, here's my suggestion. Take a look at Paul George. Take a long, hard look. You might like what you'll see. He plays hard on both ends. He's the best scorer of the Pacers. He guards the best scorer of the other team. His team is 13-1. What's not to like?! Plus, he scores on windmill dunks like this one vs the Timberwolves. PG24!!! MH

Dwight Howard appeared on Sesame Street recently to help kids learn the concept of strategy. According to D12, "In basketball, you need a plan on how to win, that's a strategy." For June Mar Fajardo - Raise The Roof Arm Workout VIDEO:
This is why Petron big man June Mar Fajardo is one of the most likeable guys in the league -- because he thought of honoring his mentor, Danny Ildefonso, by "raising the roof" after scoring a basket during their season opener against Globalport. Good job!
But...
It could've been done better.
Yes, you can do better June Mar. You can do a much better "raise the roof" if you practice harder. Kaya mo pa pagandahin yan Bro!
Here June Mar, I found this Raise The Roof Workout Video on YouTube just for you. Sakto 'to! Easy to follow. Step by step. Less than 3 minutes lang. Do it for the die-hard Petron fans. Do it for Danny I. Do it because ang tamang execution ng "raise the roof" dapat all-out and all-heart. MH

"In design, you're able to create the future." Nike Basketball Inside Access - Design Minds. VIDEO:
I've been fortunate enough to have met the creative forces behind the kicks you've grown to love. One big takeaway from interviews with sneaker designers like Leo Chang: you see the power of visual thinking. Here's a quick inside look at how Nike designers come up with concepts like the KD VI or how they craft apparel ideas for Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. It's about the collaboration of top talent. It's about great minds learning from one another. It's about creating the future. MH

Anthony Davis highlights vs the Lakers. Points. Rebounds. Blocks. Dunks. Bro? Brow! VIDEO:
Against the Lakers, New Orleans big man Anthony Davis proved that he can score, rebound, and block. He also showed that he can destroy Pau Gasol in a variety of ways.
One of the most impressive things about AD: when he blocks a shot, he doesn't waste time blabbering in his opponent's face. Instead, he instantly runs back on offense and ends up finishing the fastbreak.
