Kevin Durant working on his Magic Johnson Sky Hook during off-season. VIDEO:

During the launch of the KD VI in Kevin Durant's hometown Seat Pleasant, Maryland, Durant told ESPN's Mike Wilbon and KD VI designer Leo Chang that he plans to add a Magic Johnson-style Sky-Hook to his repertoire for next season.

Durant said, "It's taking me a while to master it. If I shoot 20 of them, I would make 4 of 5. But I've been working on it this summer. I'm trying to add that to my game." If a Durant three-pointer is incredibly hard to stop, paano pa kaya Durant hook-shot?

Magic Johnson's hook shot or better known as the Baby Sky Hook or Junior Sky Hook became legendary when he used it to beat the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the 1987 Finals...in Boston...against the triple team of Kevin McHale, Robert Parish and Larry Bird. Goosebumps!

Of course, Magic's Junior Sky Hook was inspired by teammate Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's immortal Sky Hook. Seriously, this shot is so unstoppable for big men, I don't know why it's not being taught to more big men. Then again, Kareem probably made it look easy for decades. Also, I wouldn't confuse the jump hook with the Sky Hook. There are few shots in basketball as regal as Kareem's Sky Hook. Ang ganda talaga panoorin, even for six straight minutes:
