The pre-game or intro by the NBA on CBS team during the 1987 NBA Playoffs offers everything a fan deserves to experience before a big game: one of best NBA television soundtracks of all time, a superb script (..."the gruelling playoff grind has transformed Celtic green into battered shades of black and blue"...wow), the mellifluous voice of Dick Stockton, purposeful editing, players fighting, Larry Bird saving the Celtics, and the seamless flow from graphics to highlights to live feed. I actually remember watching this 26 years ago. I was fascinated by it then. I'm still fascinated by it now. MH
